Joseph Kennedy said it best:
When the going gets tough, the tough get going.
I love to think this quote by Thomas Edison is sort of a prequel to what Kennedy was saying:
Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.
Even when you fail, keep at it, learn from those mistakes, grow, and keep on going. Even when it feels as if nothing is working and it’s too hard, keep pushing through. That’s not to say, it’s cowardly if you quit, everyone should know their limits and if it’s not meant to be then it’s not meant to be, don’t stop until you’ve exhausted your resources and you’ve given it your all. Edison was right, many of life failures happen when you don’t realize how close you are. It’s not quitting when you learn from it and who knows, maybe you’ll be able to create, develop, or implement a greater idea because you never stopped, but if you quit, you’ll never know what could have been.
For me: In this life, I’m trying to LIVE and LEAVE with minimal regrets, so I chose to keep pushing forward.
I leave you with One Republic-Lift Me Up, because it’s One Republic. Enjoy and Good Night!
