cropped-img_20161111_172247-2.jpgHi, I’m Joycelyn, but you can call me Jo. I graduated from Texas A&M with a BA in Political Science and an MA in Social Justice and Human Rights from Prescott College. I spend 50% of my time thinking about ways to combat sex trafficking, 40% writing about sexual health, the randomness of a millennial, or researching writing resources, and the other 10%? Watching Asian Dramas.

Last year,  I decided I wanted to learn more about the Sexual Rights Movement, how I can make an impact in sexual education (no matter the size), as well as, sharing what I learned with the rest of the world. That’s where Can We Talk  came into play, I enjoy blogging about all things sexual health education (includes mental health) and its relations to pop culture and society today. When I’m not researching or writing about sexual health or randomness, I’m usually Femsplaining at the Femsplain Slack, an inclusive personal storytelling magazine–it’s also an organization that believes in open space and an open mind.

I hope to write and publish my work in diverse publications in the future, help combat sex trafficking, learn more as well as, educate others on Sexual Health issues, take a selfie with Prez Obama, VP Biden, and Kofi Annan, & watch-fully subbed dramas

Thanks for visiting,
